Gebert Janssen studied music at the ArtEZ conservatorium in the Netherlands. After his study he ended up in the events industry, where he has been active in the last 24 years. As founder and CEO he manages the Eventarchitect group in the Netherlands. This agency designs and cares for a wide range of event marketing-, live communication-, business events and incentive travel for different branches.
The last 13 years Gebert is also lecturer at an University of applied sciences. He is head of the department Eventmanagement (responsible for the courses Eventmanagement, Eventmarketing, Imagineering, Citymarketing, Trends & developments, MICE and Conference management, Safety and logistics in events.) Every year he motivates many students for the event- and MICE business.
In the last years Gebert received the Crystal Award for organizing the most Exceptional Travel Programmes in Africa and the Middle East and for organizing an incentive programme in Europe. He also received 3 times the eventex global award in corporation with the Eventarchitect Germany: 3nd for the world best employee engagement award, 2nd for the world best corporate event and 1st (gold) for the best incentive event.
Gebert is also active as a educational, motivational and inspiring (keynote)speaker worldwide. His presentations are always very usable in practice.
Gebert is also the author of ‘The real MICEbook’ (2018), a book with all the basics for the MICE professional. This book has already been sold in more than 25 countries.
